Terms of Service
1. The service we provide
Website.Doctor provides website audit services. We examine your website, identify issues across technical, security, privacy, accessibility, SEO, legal, and brand-messaging dimensions, and deliver a written report with recommended fixes. We may also provide implementation, design, and hosting services as agreed in a separate scope of work.
2. What we do NOT provide
- Medical advice. We are not human doctors.
- Legal advice. Anything in our reports about legal documents (privacy policy, terms of service, etc.) is a best-practices observation, not legal counsel. Consult a lawyer.
- Penetration testing or active security exploitation. We perform passive external observation only.
- Guarantees that fixing the issues we identify will improve any specific metric (search rankings, conversion rate, revenue).
3. Payment terms
Audit packages are quoted as fixed fees. Payment is due before delivery of the report unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via the methods listed at the time of invoicing.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel an audit at any time before work begins for a full refund. Once we have started analysis, refunds are at our discretion based on the amount of work completed. We will be reasonable.
5. Intellectual property
You own your website. We own our methodology and our internal tooling. The audit report we deliver is yours to use, share, and quote as you see fit (with attribution where possible).
6. Confidentiality
Your audit report is yours. We do not share it with anyone without your explicit written permission. If you'd like us to feature your audit as a case study on our portfolio page, we'll ask first, and we'll redact any sensitive details (admin URLs, credentials, internal notes) before anything goes public. Default is private. Always.
7. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
8. Disclaimers and warranties
Our services are provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of our audit findings for any particular purpose. We do our best work, but the internet is large and software is imperfect.
9. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on this page for at least 30 days.
